Engaging the Community to Prevent & Reduce Youth Substance Abuse

Rebecca Elwell Rebecca Elwell is the Coordinator of the Tiverton Prevention Coalition and Project Director for the Drug Free Communities Grant. Rebecca has been working in the field of prevention for over ten years. She has a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology and extensive professional training in the fields of addiction and prevention. Rebecca is also a Certified Prevention Specialist.

The Tiverton Prevention Coalition envisions a community that embraces and promotes the health and safety of all its residents, and is working toward achieving that vision through education, partnerships, and community collaboration.

Our Mission

The Coalition is an organized group of voluntary members, representing and serving the constituencies of our town, concerned with the development, implementation, and support of effective community-based prevention programs.
